Alfred couldn't help but grin at Ivan's blush. Why was he so cute? "Haha, relax, it's ok! I know that's not what you meant... I just thought I should tell you before you accidentally agreed to sleeping with Francis, or something. And it's not the word 'sleep' itself that means sex... it's just when you say 'sleep with.' And I dunno why... it's a pretty weird language, huh? But that's not our fault, it's those crazy Brits!"

Alfred glanced at the note as Ivan pointed to it. "What does that one say, anyway?"

"D-Da, English is very weird language. It is confusing and certain things mean other things?" Ivan shook his head, rubbing his cheeks with his hands to try to rid them of that blush. "B-But ah, the photo... Da. T-Toris wrote that he will miss me, but he is happy I leave, too, because then maybe Natalia will finally love him now that I am not there. He was joking, of course! He is sad I leave, but he does really like Natalia."

Alfred looked back down at the photo. "Hmm... well, they look like they'd be a cute couple!"

"Da, I think they would too!" Ivan smiled. "Toris is very nice. He is a... gentleman? Treats Natalia very kindly and with respect." The Russian turned the page, revealing two photos. He pointed to the first one. "Ah, this is Listvyanka, my village..." He then pointed to the second one. "...and this is my house!"

"It looks like a nice place... I bet it's pretty cold there, though, huh? D'you ever get used to it?"

"Ah, nyet. I never really get used to it. I hate the cold. I think... I like snow when I was younger, but when I was nine, I think... Papa and I went ice fishing, da? I walked out a little bit and slipped a ways away and fell down on thin piece of ice, and I break through the ice. Papa had to jump in and pull me out of water." He closed the book and set it aside, deciding to show him the rest of the pictures in there later, and pulled his picture frame back on his lap.

"Oh..." Alfred blinked, frowning slightly. "I'm sorry..."

Then his attention was caught by the picture frame facedown Ivan moved back to his lap. The one he'd been looking at earlier. He couldn't see the picture, but it was obviously something important to him. "What's that one? ...Your girlfriend?"

Ivan blushed, then shook his head. "N-Nyet! I am single, Fredka! This is one of my favorite photos, though..." Ivan smiled, then showed the blonde the photo. "This was actually the day after I fell in the ice water. My sisters both climbed into my bed to keep me warm. Mama and Papa thought it was cute, so they took photo."

"Of course I'd love to come with you ladies Victoria, but I have a paper to finish for my next class unfortunately. Perhaps I will see you there." He kissed each of them on the cheek and proceeded to walk out of the cafeteria and headed to his dorm.

Alfred grinned at the picture. "Aw, it is cute! You guys look like you were really cute kids."

"You think so? Natalia was definitely adorable, but I was kind of weird looking..."

After Francis left, Alice sighed with relief.

"We?" She was waiting for the reaction of the other two girls.

"What? No way! You were adorable! How can you call that weird looking?"

"I was big for my age! I-I still am..." Ivan blushed, standing up and setting the picture on the nightstand next to his bed. "A-Also, I have proof!"

Victoria watch as Francis walked out of the room with a small frown on her face. She glanced over at the blonde and perked up. "Oh! Let's go then."

"So what?" Alfred really couldn't see how anyone could think Ivan wasn't cute. His larger-than-average-ness only added onto it. He was like a big cuddly teddy bear! "...Proof of what?"

"Proof that I am weird and not cute!" Ivan sat down on his old bed, stacking some clothes together to distract himself.

Alfred raised an eyebrow, not convinced that there was anything Ivan could show him that would change his mind. "Oh yeah? What's that?"

"Other than Natalia, no one has ever shown interest in wanting to be my girlfriend! I-I've never had one..." Ivan's blush increased at his confession, and he grabbed one of his clothes piles to put in the dresser drawer.

Alfred watched Ivan blush and distractedly mess around with his clothes, thinking. "...Yeah? A boyfriend, then." He grinned.

Ivan immediately looked up, shock on his face. His eyebrows flew up behind his bangs and his blush only seemed to increase, his cheeks far too warm. "S-Shto?! Nyet, I-I... I never had boyfriend!"

Alfred grinned further at Ivan's reaction, glad he didn't seem offended or disgusted, and thinking it was probably the cutest face he'd made so far. "No?"

"N-Nyet! I-I haven't..." Ivan bit his lip, looking down at the floor, then placed his armful of clothes in the drawer before returning to the bed and grabbing another pile to put away. "S-So see? There is my proof that I am weird. 17, and never had relationship with someone. No one was even interested in me..."

Alice saw the frown of Victoria. Then she came up shyly to the brunette and whispered. "Um, are you ok?"

"...Just 'cause you've never been in a relationship, it doesn't mean nobody's ever been interested in you. Maybe they were just shy! Besides, everyone today was really interested in you, remember?" He watched Ivan, chin in one of his hands, then smiled. "And anyway, I don't think that'd make you weird. And it definitely wouldn't make you any less cute! It'd just mean everyone else has bad taste."
